Rumors went viral about Shakira, the famous pop star, going under the knife for a nose job (rhinoplasty). The before and after images don’t lie. She used to have a wider nose with a more voluptuous tip but now her nose is looking trimmed and slimmer. The Colombian pop singer had already told the public that she wanted a nose job.
Shakira had sparked rumors after she confessed she had visited a doctor because she was unhappy with the size of her nose. During an interview with Colombian newspaper El Tiempo, when asked if she has ever gone under the knife for cosmetic reasons, she replied, "Never for my breasts. For my nose, maybe." Although her hairstyle and makeup had noticeably changed it’s obvious her nose looks quite different now with a nicer and more refined tip. Apparently, she never liked her nose and perhaps opted for a nose job to address this issue.
Shakira is a very successful pop artist with over 70 million albums sold all over the world. Her first album was released when she was only 14. In 2012, her U.S. album sales had reached almost 10 million. But she is not all about singing and dancing.
